We take a targeted approach to grant-making, working alongside organisations and our philanthropic peers to find ways to create change together.

Our grant-making mix

• Co-developed grants with partners
• Grant-making to a network of partners (for example, Learning Lives Strengthened in Culture)
• Open grant rounds (for example, the Strengthening Early Years Grant Round with Australian Communities Foundation)
• Participatory grant making (for example, Creating Partnerships for Potential – a Peer to Peer Initiative)
• Peer Philanthropy – supporting the grant-making work of our philanthropic partners across Australia (for example, Koondee Woonga-gat Toor-rong)

We do not accept unsolicited grant proposals, however we encourage you to subscribe to our mailing list to stay informed of any grant opportunities.

PRF pays what it takes by ensuring overheads are accounted for in our grant-making process.

Impact investment

Impact investing is a powerful and financially sustainable tool for philanthropy to use alongside traditional grant-making opportunities. It has enormous potential as a catalytic market builder in finding innovative and influential ways to improve the lives of people experiencing disadvantage.

We aim to generate a greater appetite and understanding for how impact investing can be used to create positive change.
