Tanya Alimchandani

Tanya is a Partnerships Officer, supporting a range of our partnerships and working towards successful outcomes of our grants initiatives.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Tanya worked in health diplomacy, supporting Australia’s representation at multilateral fora including the WHO and G20, and brokering agreement on key public health initiatives. Tanya was also involved in the first comprehensive national review of Australia’s progress against the Sustainable Development Goals.

Tanya studied international development, anthropology and public policy at the Australian National University. With vocational qualifications in community development and population health, Tanya has also enjoyed working at a community level on a range of initiatives, from youth mentoring to fairtrade advocacy.

Outside of work, Tanya enjoys good food, live music and performing unreliably at pub trivia nights.
