Who are we?

"This flood event was one of the most challenging I’ve had to deal with... Our reward was seeing people leave the centres with a sense of relief that there was some hope."

What are we doing?

How can we best support communities with short and long-term relief and resilience building following overlapping natural disasters?

Australian Red Cross - Flood Relief, Bushfire Disaster Relief and Recovery

Funding relief operations includes supporting emergency teams, supporting vulnerable people in remote areas, developing long-term programs to help people and communities recover and build resilience, and providing emergency cash grants for people disadvantaged by either disaster.
