Who are we?

"We need mitigation. We need resilience. We need to do what we can on prevention, by supporting international efforts to limit the drivers of extreme weather events."

Mehmet Ulubasoglu, Deakin University, article author

What are we doing?

How can we advance access and participation in quality early education and care across Australia so that all children, especially those experiencing disadvantage, can thrive?

The Conversation - Data-driven journalism exploring the nexus of natural disasters and transformative resilience

The project curates a series of data-driven news articles which help translate academic research and ideas into relevant and topical news stories. These stories will engage the public around topics of how individuals and communities cope and adapt to increased frequency and severity of natural disasters, bushfires in particular.
