Strong Women Talking - Marigurim Mubi Yangu Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders Corporation

Strong Women Talking Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Corporation has a vision and passion to deliver culturally appropriate prevention focused workshops and programs to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children in communities. With Indigenous grass roots facilitators delivering programs in safe and therapeutic forms, the workshops aim to break the multi-generational cycle of family and domestic violence once and for all. Strong Women Talking was established in 2017 and since 2018 has worked with over 200 First Nation women, providing a safe space for trauma informed healing and education. Strong Women Talking's vision is to Educate, Equip & Empower and our framework is embedded on a First Nations Perspective.
